Hon. Edward D. Burke, Sr. served as a judge for the New York State Court of Claims and as an Acting Justice in the Supreme Court in Riverhead from 2000-2007. Justice Burke served as a Southampton Town Justice in the Southampton Town Justice Court from 1994-2000 and again from 2008-2015. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1961-1967, and prior to that, he worked as a structural ironworker in Union Local 40.
