Jonathan A. Baum, Esq.

Jonathan A. Baum joins Mediation Solutions after a distinguished 36-year legal career in which he practiced in both the New York State and Federal Courts and has handled hundreds of mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.

Jon has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex matters including personal injury, construction litigation, premises, products liability, motor vehicle negligence, contracts, dental malpractice, insurance coverage, foreclosure, real estate, wills, and estate planning.

He began his career representing defendants for several major insurance carriers and then representing defendants in private practice. After 18 years in practice as defense counsel, he joined the well-known plaintiff’s firm of Siben and Siben, as Senior Trial Attorney and then head of the Trial Department, where he remained until March 2025 when he went into private practice. He is currently practicing on his own and also providing court coverage for other attorneys.

He has been a regular in the courthouse for over 30 years and is well respected by attorneys, judges, and court personnel, and has been appointed as a court referee in both foreclosure and real estate matters.

He brings his deep knowledge of mediation, trial practice, and personal injury to help Mediation Solutions’ clients resolve their personal injury matters.
